Getting Started — For Patients

When I call you back—typically the same day, unless you have specified another time, we  will talk about the issues you are seeking help with, you can ask me questions about my approach, and we can determine whether we might work well together. Scheduling a First Session

If we decide after our initial phone conversation to mutually schedule a first session, this will likely be via telehealth. This first session will provide us with more information about whether we want to continue meeting. If, after this meeting, you or I feel we are not a good match, I may provide you with other suggestions.

No Surprises Act Notification and Consent Form: There are two forms. The second form includes an estimate of what you could pay, important especially if Dr. Engelman is an out of network provider for your health insurance plan.
